Designed by William Bell, Sr. in 1957. Both Torrey Pines North & South courses are home of the Farmers Insurance Open PGA Golf Tournament played in the first week of February. Both 18-hole courses (North and South courses are very scenic with beautiful ocean views). Torrey Pines signature hole is located on the North course on hole #6. The South course is the more challenging of the two and hosts the final round of the Farmer’s Insurance Open as well as the 2008 & 2021 U.S. Open Championship Tournaments.
Foresight updated the course in 2021 to match the layout for the US Open in 2021. This now considered one of the premium courses in their library. It is much improved over the previous version.
